yes, that's right. the AMAZING Slade are coming to La Hulpe!
There's some sort of festival celebration thing in La Hulpe this weekend and apart from other 'spectacles', our local town is going to come alive with Slade. Our house in particular will be coming alive, given that we almost back on to the venue.
The last day or so has been rather noisy while they've set up stages etc. I just had a further taste of just how loud this weekend will be when Cum on Feel the Noize (warm up) jolted me out of my friday afternoon reverie.
We were planning on heading to the Slade gig for a bit of a laff, but unfortunately as snoozers we are losers. All sold out. Will just have to head bang in the lounge room.
Note - I hadn't actually found their picture until I did this blog. If I had found it earlier, it is likely we would have tickets.

Eh, c'mon spot the fakes more like. I see Dave and Don, but without Noddy it really isn't Slade. :) Saw the real thing back in 1980. Oh good times.
Ahh, Stuart - good to hear from you mate! Jealous. Oh, to have been there to see Slade in their heyday with you. Of course I would have been a little underage, but good times indeed ;-)
Just you wait until we finish the post about who we saw in Brussels the other night. Belgium truly is on the cutting edge of 80s revivals.
So, when are you coming to visit mate? Life is good here in Belgium, and the beer is even better!
