Nesting instinct

We still have to do some general chook research and set up a bit of a run (although the plan is mostly freeranging over the yard) before we go out and buy the girls (2 to start?) but things are in motion. Can't wait to be able to collect my own eggs! Yay!

On the birdie, nestie theme, we upgraded Sam and Freddie to a fancy budgie condo, which they seem to be enjoying.

On the Widget, nestie theme, we are all nested up with no youngun in sight yet. His due date was Monday, so not too late yet. Apparently first borns arrive 8 days after the due date on average. As Jamie pointed out, why don't they just adjust the due date then???

My sister arrived from London on Sunday, so there was another Mother-Daughter reunion (after about a 2 year absence?)
