Blue Rinse and Orange Tans - The Algarve, Portugal

Pics:    Slideshow    Thumbnails    Full-size
Jeannie and I spent the Easter week with a bunch of primarily London-based ex-pats in the Algarve in southern Portugal -- For those who don't know, the Algarve might be considered "Europe's Surfer's Paradise" (with all the good and bad connotations that may be implied by that name.)

We stayed at the Hotel Garbe right on the beach in Armação de Pêra, but managed to find time for several side trips to some lovely towns like Silves, Loulé, Portimão, Albufeira and Porches, famed for its great pottery.

For the first part of the holiday we were alone - the rest of the crew didn't arrive until Easter. Due to it being decision-time at the end of the job-hunt though, we were rather too pre-occupied with getting Internet/fax access and trying to sign employment contracts

Once all that was done though, and the others arrived, things relaxed even further and the fun really began.

All in all, it was a great time with a great posse - Thanks for letting us share your 30th Molly!
