Springing into Spring!

I dropped Shane and Jamie off at the airport this morning, at some silly hour, and with the dogs in the boot decided to stop off at the forest for a walk on the way home (about 630ish). I always find it such a beautiful time of day to be out and about, the rare times that I am. I wish I could bring myself to experience the joy more often.

Anyway, I was rewarded for my early morning exercise, by spotting a group of 5 deer not far away, who went bouncing away once they caught sight of us. I did some research to see what kind of deer these bouncy creatures with the luminously white arses might be, and as common sense would have it, they are known as 'white-tailed deer'.

Really looking forward to some more animal spotting once Spring hits with full force. LOVED all the bunnies and squirrels last year.
