Barcelona - Bellamy & Neus

Slideshow

I just can't bear to hear again about all the blog entries that Jeannie's got backed up waiting for me to finish this one, or that "We're losing our audience..." "they're getting bored..." "our hit count is dropping...", so I'm just going to do it...

It is with sincere apologies to Bellamy and Neus that I rush this out in a fashion that does not really do justice to a wonderful evening (but in another way, I guess it kinda does, as my visit was far too short :-)

I have to admit that Jeannie does have a point (as usual) I have been sitting on this blog entry for a very long time now - so long, en fait, that I can't even remember when it was exactly that I went to Barcelona and caught up with our lovely friends Jeremy and Neus. I do know that it was just a few days before their wedding.

To be fair, the reason I went to Barcelona was not just to see Bellamy and Neus, it was actually for work. The timing was fantastic though, because not only was I able to spend some brief but quality hours with the happy couple just before their big day, but I got to be one of the first visitors to the beautiful new house they've just bought.

It is an absolutely gorgeous place with a view over a lush green valley. The weather is perfect and "Mediterranean" and they've got a brilliant outdoor BBQ and all sorts of fruit trees, and hammocks swinging between them, and tomatoes that actually ripen (instead of rotting on the vine like mine did) and I'm not jealous at all, honest. Belgium is beautiful too in its own, slightly greyer, wetter, less tomato-friendly way ;-)

The photos I took while there just don't do it justice I'm afraid, so I can't wait for the next (hopefully longer) visit so the happy couple can play houseproud new homeowners and give Jeannie a tour.

Congratulations again on your wedding guys. See you soon.

To the rest of you, apologies again for the long time between posts, and for the rushed nature of this one... So, now I guess there's nothing stopping Jeannie from churning out the big backlog that she's got there, so make sure you keep coming back to check about more exciting Osborne adventures :-)
