Falling through the days

The title is quoted in Kaz Cooke's Up the Duff, and oh how true! I spend the whole day watching the clock, but never having a clue what time it is as it's mostly just watching the minute hands (to keep an eye on feeding times). It is all very demanding and time consuming, and I would be completely lost without mum here. Even with the two of us, getting lunch, showers and the washing done are a challenge. We've had a few sterilising mishaps, with boiling water and (fated to be unidentifiable) plastic items being left on the stove just a little bit longer than the required 5 minutes.
Jasper is getting into the swing of living on the outside; enjoying bathtime, staring intently at things (he loves lala (koala) bear & his buggy), and letting us know his needs. He is also impressing with his number twos - onto nanna & carpet, today in the bath, and last night at dinner while in the sling gave a nice resounding answer to Jamie asking "and what have you got to say in there?". It's all still a novelty so noone is opting out of nappy changes yet.
Anyway, my spare five minutes are up!
ps. and yes he does have swollen breasts, its a hormone carryover thing from moi, not a sign of androgyny
