Shane's folks, Eggs and Meggs (Eric and Meghan(sp?)) and Shane himself swung through Belgium on their way to Croatia, from Paris. It was great introducing Jasper to Eggs and Meggs as it inspired some reminiscing on young Shane's antics. I'll restrain from indulging here.

They spent their first night in Belgium enjoying the sights and sounds of Brugge. The next couple of nights were spent chilling at Chez Osborne. We enjoyed an outing to a pancake & beer cafe (note to self - fruit confit does NOT mean nice juicy fruit, but instead mixed, coloured peel. Icky yuk yuk). The blokes hit the kitchen and made some Belgian dishes, including my fave, caramelised endives.
