Fi visitation

Jasper had his first non-family visitor on the weekend with Fi coming to stay for a couple of nights. She had been undertaking a grand adventure, timed with a work trip to London, visiting Istanbul, Greece, Germany, Italy, amongst others.. Fortunately, she was feeling a bit ragged from long trips and nights in hostels, so was happy for a low-key weekend. This was fortunate as low-key was the only type on offer! She got to enjoy a nice long soak in our bath (something I can't do for another two weeks - boo hoo hoo) and a total body reiki session from mum.

Fi was a master (mistress really) of the 'B's' of modern motherhood, boire d'une bière while balancing on a ball and burping a baby. What a woman!

We did actually leave the house though, with Jasper going on his first 'big' outings. Think it was more of a big deal for me than him though. We had a whirlwind trip to the shops so mum could get some t-shirts for the unusually warm weather we'd been having, then to Leuven for a late lunch, which became an early dinner. Sunday we went for lunch on the Lake - although Jamie and I wound up enjoying our entrée in the car while Jasper had his.

Some pics here including more of the little dreamboat..

and more contemplative Jasper here:
