I hear music...

Headed to a singer's night at Sounds jazz bar/cafe last night. Alot of regulars there, and at a glance seemed it could be quite cliquey... But Al braved it all and went down a treat. A few people came up after, saying how much they'd enjoyed it. One of the other singers even came up and asked if she wanted to sing at another place.

She was initially thought to be a new wave from Israel!!! When they had asked if she was English, she had corrected 'Australian' which had been misheard. (Ostrayn - Israel)

There is a jazz singers comp. coming up in a few months which she is entering. Some nice prizes there! She's heading to London tomorrow to get stuck into the working part of the working holiday visa (she is keen to work... go figure!). But only a stone's throw away, which is fab
