Juzzy, Mark and Sally (& Simon)

Pics
Friday 23rd June, and Chateau Osborne was inundated with guests - three and a half in total (although half may be a stretch ; - ). Juzzy, Mark and yummy new addition Sally had been playing the loyal Aussies, and attending the first round World Cup games in Germany (where Mark's folks are also located). They managed to squeeze in an overnight stay before heading up to Amsterdam.
Simon also arrived on the Friday, staying until Monday morning (painfully early), before he too headed off to play loyal Aussie (and then to travels beyond).
Young Sally behaved herself admirably - even when Simon was left in supervisory charge for a while! Having also seen young Ava on her travels with Alie and Adam, this age seems to be perfect for big trips. Initially wouldn't have thought that travelling with a young baby would be anything other than nightmare, but having them at an age when they can hold their head up themselves, and when they are not yet mobile, seems to work. Especially with those handy strap on carry packs. Just like a (front) backpack only wigglier!
Dined and beered in, after a stroll around lovely Lake Genval. Was great to catch up with Juzzy and Mark (and Sally); bummer was so short. But hopefully with the adoring grandparents as our neighbours there will be more trips on the horizon.
Was great catching up with Simon too, but will continue his visit in another post...
