Out(the)back Camping

  

We had a beautiful summer here and as the weather got particularly toasty, Jamie thought it would be cooler to sleep out back in the tent. So up it went. A few days later, as the temperatures soared, I insisted on a last minute mercy dash to the shops to buy the stores last paddle pool. End result, a 5-star resort in our own backyard! - nearby facilities, hot showers, pool, bar, plenty of parking and pets allowed.

  

In keeping with the outdoorsie theme, we thought we'd have ourselves a good ole barbie. Unfortunately, we don't own a good ole barbie. All we had was the recently purchased portable picnic (piece of crap) barbie.

  

Jamie put in a solid effort at getting the coals going, but eventually our appetites won out. We thanked god for our superlong powercord and lugged the electric grill out onto the lawn.
