Moving... AGAIN!

We have moved into our rental place, in lovely La Hulpe. Organising the unpacked goods has been extra challenging as we have buggerall to unpack things into. My furniture isn't arriving from Oz until mid-July. If only we had access to a multitude of milk crates!

Olly was very happy to get some grass under his feet, having been stuck in the apartment for a month. The dogs are OK with the new place with the lawn, but I think they may prefer the apartment where they get a number of toilet visits/forest walks each day! We have been so busy trying to get the house in order they have been largely neglected - poor deprived dears...Emma is arriving Monday arvo from London to look after them for about a week while we are away.
The weather has been absolutely fantastic of late - lovely and sunny! We have managed to take the odd bit of time out (from moving jobs) here and there to dine al fresco and play catch out on the long, long and narrow lawn.
The house is quirky, but we are really fond of it. The quirkiness extends to the bedroom doorframes being too low for Jamie to get through at full height. There is also a big wooden beam in the middle of the room to keep him on his toes - or should say off his toes, and with his knees bent! The dogs are struggling a bit with the stairs, but are doing better than me. They're slippery and narrow, so its a slow process!

We have the church just near by and the bells regularly ringing. I actually really like them. As well as the hour and half-hour, they do long extended ringing at quarter to nine each morning, which is the perfect reminder for Jamie to get himself out the door. He has ~12-15 min walk to work, and a 9am start. One of these days I plan to join him and restart a gym routine. They have a full sports centre at his work which we can both access, which is rather handy. We plan to join up with the yoga club and a couple of others. Jamie has already gone along to his first lunchtime volleyball session.
